Kumi Kwok is an illustrator based in China, originally from Guangdong. She holds a master’s degree in Illustration from the University of Edinburgh and has also studied in Japan, bringing a multicultural perspective to her creative practice. She is currently a professional member of the Shenzhen Illustration Association.
Her work blends watercolor and collage, drawing inspiration from nature’s quiet details and the gentle rhythm of everyday life—leaves on the ground, a soft breeze, or the gaze of an animal companion. With a bright and soothing palette, her illustrations are known for their healing and joyful energy.
Kumi is passionate about making art a part of daily living. She enjoys designing ceramic plates and creating illustrations that connect with home spaces, hoping her work can bring comfort—like a warm hug made of color.
She has participated in picture book workshops and children's art activities, and continues to explore how illustration can be integrated into everyday life and slow design.
Kumi Kwok 是一位插画师，现居中国，来自广东。她毕业于英国爱丁堡大学插画专业，曾赴日本留学，拥有多元文化背景与多语言沟通能力。目前是深圳插画协会的专业会员。
她的创作以水彩和拼贴为主，灵感来自自然与日常生活中细腻温柔的瞬间——地上的落叶、窗边的微风、动物安静的注视。她的画面色调明亮柔和，富有治愈感，致力于通过色彩传递温暖与平静。
Kumi热衷于将艺术带入日常生活，喜欢创作陶瓷餐碟与家居插画，希望她的作品能够像一个由色彩构成的温暖拥抱，陪伴人们的生活片段。
她曾参与绘本工作坊和儿童艺术活动，并持续探索插画与生活美学、慢节奏设计之间的更多可能性。
